At Across, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting it with a simple and secure approach.

What Data We Collect

Across collects minimal data, and the following information is collected without linking it to you personally:

The collected data is processed through Google Analytics and Firebase services to help improve the app experience.

No Servers: Across does not operate its own servers.
iCloud Storage: All events and tasks are securely stored in your personal iCloud account, managed by Apple.
No Access to Apple ID: Across never knows or accesses your Apple ID.
Permission-Based Access: Across accesses your Calendar and Reminders only with your explicit permission.
Google Calendar: If you connect your Google account, your calendar data is accessed via the official Google Calendar API and used only within the app. Across does not operate any servers, and all data is processed locally on your device. Across’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Across requests access to certain device features solely for providing core app functionalities:

Calendar: To display and create events.
Reminders: To display and create tasks.
Location: To display weather information and attach a location when creating events.
Contacts: To display attendee information for events.

These permissions are used only for the purposes described above and are neither used for any other purposes nor stored separately.

Your data is securely stored in your iCloud account, encrypted and managed by Apple.

If you connect your Google account, calendar data is handled only on your device and never stored on external servers.
