Sync
Across works based on calendar and reminder data stored in the iOS/macOS system.
In most cases, synchronization is automatic in real time or within a few minutes.
However, in some situations, sync may be delayed or events may not appear immediately.
Please go through the checklist below.
📱 iPhone / iPad
1. Confirm Apple ID
- iPhone Settings > Apple ID
Make sure all devices use the same Apple ID.
2. Enable iCloud for Calendar & Reminders
- iPhone Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > iCloud Storage > See All
- Calendars → On
- Reminders → On
3. Enable Keychain
- iPhone Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Passwords & Keychain
- Toggle must be On
4. Calendar Sync Range
- iPhone Settings > Apps > Calendar > Sync
- Select All Events
5. iCloud Account in Calendar
- iPhone Settings > Apps > Calendar > Calendar Accounts
- iCloud account must be listed
6. Calendar: Fetch New Data
- iPhone Settings > Apps > Calendar > Calendar Accounts > Fetch New Data
- Push: On
- iCloud: Push
- Fetch: Automatically
7. iCloud Account in Reminders
- iPhone Settings > Apps > Reminders > Reminders Accounts
- iCloud account must be listed
8. Reminders: Fetch New Data
- iPhone Settings > Apps > Reminders > Reminders Accounts > Fetch New Data
- Push: On
- iCloud: Push
- Fetch: Automatically
9. Across App Permissions
- iPhone Settings > Apps > Across
- Calendars: Full Access
- Reminders: On
10. Third-Party Calendars
- iPhone Settings > Apps > Calendar > Calendar Accounts > Add Account
- Add Google, Naver, etc. separately on each device
11. Launch Across
Open the Across app and check if events/reminders appear.
🔄 Manual Sync Tip (iPhone/iPad)
If sync seems delayed:
1. Open the Apple Calendar app
2. Tap Calendars (bottom center)
3. On the list screen, pull down to refresh
This forces a system-level sync, which Across will reflect automatically.
💻 Mac
1. Confirm Apple ID
- System Settings > Apple ID
Must match iPhone/iPad Apple ID.
2. Enable iCloud for Calendar & Reminders
- System Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Show All
- Calendars → On
- Reminders → On
3. Enable Keychain
- System Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Passwords & Keychain
- Must be On
4. System Permissions
- System Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars
- Across → Full Access
- System Settings > Privacy & Security > Reminders
- Across → On
5. Third-Party Calendar Accounts
- System Settings > Internet Accounts > Add Account
- Add Google, Naver, etc. directly
6. Launch Across
Open Across and confirm your calendar and reminders are syncing properly.
🔄 Manual Sync Tip (Mac)
If sync doesn’t seem to reflect:
- Launch the Apple Calendar app
This may trigger a background sync with iCloud.
Changes will be detected by Across shortly after.
